Project description:

The general goal of the project is to increase the competitiveness of the agricultural sector in the field of processing of agricultural products by strengthening human resources and introducing advanced technologies and innovations.
The special goal of the project is to encourage people working in agriculture to more rapidly implement scientific and technological innovations related to the production of exceptional quality dairy products on farms.
The aim of the project is to apply food science knowledge and technologies to the production of exceptional quality dairy products on farms.
Implemented project tasks:
1. Those working in agriculture are introduced to the innovations in food science and technology related to the production of exceptional quality dairy products on farms.
2. Dissemination of information to the participants of demonstration tests, field days, seminars about innovations in food science and technology related to the production of exceptional quality dairy products on farms in various regions of Lithuania has been ensured.
The goals and objectives of the project correspond to the general, special and operational goals of the Lithuanian Rural Development 2007-2013 program measure “Professional training and information activities” of the activity area “Dissemination of scientific knowledge and innovative practices in agricultural and forestry activities and agricultural products processing farms” (increase competitiveness of agriculture, to encourage those working in agriculture to introduce scientific innovations and to spread scientific knowledge and innovations) in the field of processing of agricultural products.

Project funding:

Project is funded by the EU Structural Funds according to the 2007–2013 Lithuanian Rural Development Programme.
